New Madrid cat poisoning draws PETA’s attention

NEW MADRID Mo. (KBSI) – Cases all around the country that concern cats.

PETA is being notified of several cruel situations that are ending up with fury friends dead.

This hits locally as there has been several poisonings in New Madrid killing people’s pets. Peta wanting to voice to the public the importance of pet cruelty, so they are making a video for pet awareness called ‘Here Kitty Kitty’.

This video being sent to New Madrid specifically.

Alicia Aguayo says they have several reports from all over the country with different scenarios on how cats are being treated.

Set up the sound bite: “You just see all these shocking reports of people lighting their cats on fire beating them crushing them shooting them so because we can’t be everywhere all at once we are asking people to do their part to protect their animals or bring them indoors so that’s what we’re trying to do with this video ‘Here Kitty Kitty’,” said Aguayo.

PETA will keep us informed on when and where the video will be published to New Madrid.
