New Madrid Police Department is investigating after local animals have been poisoned

NEW MADRID, Mo. (KBSI) – The New Madrid Police Department is investigating reports of pets being poisoned in the area.

According to the New Madrid Police Department, they have had several animal poisonings in the areas of Davis and Capital streets in the last few weeks.

It is believed that someone is attempting to poison skunks in the area and has killed several local pets in the process.
