No Major Issues During Elections In Scott County

SCOTT COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – During last week’s midterm elections, Scott County officials say they didn’t run into any major issues.

They say voter turnout was especially notable this time around.

“Scott County had a turnout of 47 percent, which was a good turnout for Scott County for this election,” said Scott County Deputy Clerk Beverly Riley. “No, it’s not the presidential [election]. It’s down, but from the previous general election, I think it’s up a little bit.”
