Nominations sought for Cape Girardeau’s endangered buildings list

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The city’s Historic Preservation Commission is accepting nominations for its Endangered Buildings List through March 5.

The list, first released in 2012, identifies properties in the city that are worthy of preservation but are at risk due to physical damage or long-term vacancy.

The commission’s goal is to raise awareness of these buildings in hopes of saving them.
