Notre Dame’s Activity Week begins; guests must use south entrance during Route K construction

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Sophomores won a class competition modeled after Hungry Hungry Hippos during Notre Dame Regional High School’s Activity Week assembly Monday.

Lea Arnzen and John Spooler took first place for the sophomore class. Seniors Andrew Ressel and Sam Carr finished second, followed by juniors Ty Blattel and Matthew Miget in third and freshmen Aiden DesPres and Alyssa Dannenmueller in fourth.

The senior class will serve a pork steak dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, or until it sells out. Meals cost $15 and are available for dine-in or curbside pickup, according to the school.

Dinner traffic should enter through the school’s south entrance off County Road 203 because of construction on Route K. Drivers coming from Cape Girardeau can pass the usual school entrance, turn left onto County Road 206 and follow County Road 203 to the south entrance.
