Oak Ridge café owner finds peace and success after transitioning to food truck
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – An Oak Ridge café owner is at peace after transitioning from a brick and mortar to a food truck business.
Mudcat Café owner Rebecca Moore closed the doors to her café almost two months ago, but instead of stopping business completely, she opted to continue servicing customers through a food truck.
“The stress of not having enough employees just became too much,” said Moore. “I wanted to spend more time with my family and take care of myself better, so that was a big decision also in closing the café.”
The owner is at peace now that she is able to balance the business and time spent with family.
Moore feels the importance of connecting with customers and looks forward to catering to schools and the community.
Now that the business has reached more flexibility, the café will continue to serve Oak Ridge and its surrounding areas.
