CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Old Town Cape’s annual Revivify: Farm to Table fundraiser returns to downtown Cape Girardeau on Sunday, Oct. 11, featuring a four-course meal prepared by local chefs with ingredients from area farms.

The event runs from 3 to 7 p.m. on Spanish Street. Tickets cost $100 and must be purchased by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9.

The evening includes entertainment by Joy Brooker and tables decorated with locally sourced flowers. Proceeds support Old Town Cape’s efforts to support businesses and revitalize downtown.

“Revivify: Farm to Table is a great opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy amazing dishes prepared and sourced by local chefs and farmers, and support Old Town Cape’s continuous goal to support businesses and revitalize a historic downtown that many of us would consider home,” Executive Director Alix Gasser said.

The menu begins with bread and oil from Bake My Day Sourdough, Bread by Charis and Water & William Olive Oil Co. Chefs from Fūdio and Yuzu prepare crispy jasmine rice and fall vegetables with yuzu vinaigrette, followed by creamy orzo with squash and kale from Encore and Relish.

Chefs from 36 Restaurant & Bar and Celebrations Restaurant & Bar prepare roasted beef with chimichurri and roasted fall vegetables. Desserts come from MoMo’s Favorite Treat’s, Atelait Creamery at Mesta Meadows Ranch, Victoria’s Creamery, Crepe Girardeau and Kishas Kookies.

This year’s silent auction focuses on downtown experiences, including VIP parking for Tunes at Twilight, a bourbon tasting and a mahjong night.
