One arrested after a stolen vehicle is recovered
MAYFIELD, KY (KBSI) – A silver Toyota Corolla was reported stolen on KY Highway 940 on Sept. 19.
On the same day, deputies located the vehicle parked near Highway 121 South at around 5:00 p.m. Unbeknownst to the deputy, the suspect ran on foot and was picked up by a person operating a small SUV. Deputies then located Hunter O. Mitchum and arrested him for auto theft. He was transported to an out-of-county detention center.
