GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — One person was injured and airlifted to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Deputies with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded about 12:26 p.m. Jan. 7 to the intersection of Kentucky 94 and Kentucky 943 for an injury collision.

Investigators said Samantha Leigh Ann Gibler-Swift, 33, of Water Valley was driving a 2005 Buick LaCrosse westbound on Kentucky 94 when the vehicle left the roadway.

Authorities said the driver overcorrected, crossed both lanes of traffic and overcorrected again, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times before coming to rest on its roof. Gibler-Swift was ejected from the vehicle.

She was transported by Mayfield/Graves County EMS to the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church in Water Valley, where she was airlifted to TriStar Skyline Medical Center for treatment.

Deputy Chad Hall investigated the crash and was assisted by Sgt. Richard Edwards, Air Evac, Mayfield/Graves County EMS and the Water Valley Fire Department.
