One killed in two-vehicle crash on Blandville Road in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Blandville Road and McKendree Church Road.
Deputies said Lee Turner, 36, of Paducah, was driving eastbound on Blandville Road in a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu with passenger Michelle Buhler, 30, and three young children. Amy Krieger, 51, of Jackson, Missouri, was traveling westbound in a 2005 Ram 1500 pickup.
According to investigators, Turner encountered slowed traffic and entered the westbound lane to avoid rear-ending another vehicle. While in the westbound lane, his vehicle was struck by Krieger’s oncoming pickup.
Buhler sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Turner, Krieger, and the children were not injured.
The Sheriff’s Office expressed condolences to the Buhler family and thanked first responders for their assistance at the scene, including Mercy Regional Ambulance, West McCracken Fire Department, Paducah Police Department, McCracken County DES, McCracken County Coroner’s Office, and Bailey’s Wrecker Service.
The investigation remains ongoing.
