Coroner identifies man killed after struck by vehicles in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau County Coroner identified the pedestrian killed after he was struck by a vehicle in south Cape Girardeau on Tuesday.

The man killed is identified as 50-year-old Michael Hull.

Hull was struck by a vehicle at South Sprigg and U.S. Hwy. 74 in South Cape Girardeau. The intersection was shut down while crews worked the scene.

According to a departmental press release: “On Tuesday, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by multiple motor vehicles near the intersection of Sprigg and MO 74. EMTs responded to the scene but the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries. Officers are currently investigating the incident.”
