(KBSI) – Route B in Reynolds County will be reduced to one lane with some restrictions as construction crews replace the bridge over Logan Creek and perform drainage improvements.

This section of roadway is located from County Road 784 to County Road 785 near Ellington, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin Monday, March 3 with an anticipated completion of Friday, Oct. 31.

This will be a multi-staged project, with one lane traffic controlled by temporary signals.

Also in Missouri, Route D in New Madrid County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.

This section of roadway is located between Route 153 and County Road 531 near Parma, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place next week from Tuesday, Feb. 18 through Thursday, Feb. 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that weather permitting, construction of two bridges over a ditch along the south side of U.S. 30 in Lee County will begin Tuesday, Feb. 25. Both bridges are located a mile west of Illinois 251.

Work will demolish and replace the bridges. Both roads will be closed south of U.S. 30 and will have a marked detour during the project.

Access to homes will be maintained during the $3.7 million project, which is expected to be completed by September.
