(KBSI) – The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to replace a bridge on northbound U.S. Route 67 over Otter Creek in Wayne County.
The bridge, located between County Road 547 and County Road 546, is slated for replacement with work potentially beginning in July and should take about four months to complete.
The Illinois Department of Transportation plans work zone lane restrictions on the Interstate 24 Ohio River Bridge between Paducah and Metropolis at the Kentucky-Illinois State Line, starting Monday, March 3.
Lane restrictions will continue in 2025 until October 14.
During this construction season, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Concrete barriers will be installed across the length of the bridge and width restrictions will be in place and should be finished by September 2027.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has reduced the speed limit along a section of KY 131/Reidland Road through the Reidland community of McCracken County.
You’ll see new signs telling drivers the speed is now 35 miles per hour.
This speed limit reduction is aimed at enhancing safety for residential areas, local schools, the Reidland business district, and intersections.
CSX Railroad is planning upcoming maintenance that will impact crossings along state, county, city and private roads at a number of locations in Henderson and Webster County starting Feb. 24.
Crews will block the KY 56 (Main Street) crossing at the 12.35 mile point starting Monday.
A marked detour will be in place, directing traffic to use KY 132 from downtown Sebree and KY 494 west of town to travel between U.S. 41 and KY 56.
This is expected to be a 2-3 day blockage.
