(KBSI) – In February, drivers will be impacted in Iron County due to one lane with an 8-foot width restriction. Crews are widening the shoulder.

This area is from Route E near Arcadia to Route 49 near Glover.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday the 17th through Monday, Oct. 6 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

There will be intermittent lane restrictions in place during working hours.

In Illinois, IDOT says that interstate 55 at the Illinois interchange in Dwight will be closed through Tuesday.

This closure is necessary so that structural steel can be installed on the south half of the Illinois 17 bridge.

This will begin from 7:30 in the evening until 7:00 the following morning.

Drivers in Kentucky need to be aware of work on KY 1128 for repairs.
