Orange Barrel Feb. 4th

(KBSI) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed a bridge on KY 1282 at the 4.741 MM over Owens Slough in Fulton County.

This is between KY 311 and KY 925 near the intersection of Joe Parker Road.

The bridge is closed to all traffic until further notice after an inspection team found deterioration of the bridge sub-structure.

Route 21 in Iron County will be reduced to one lane with an 8-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform curve widening, shoulder and drainage repairs.

This section of roadway is located from Route E near Arcadia to Route 49 near Glover, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Feb. 17 through Monday, Oct. 6 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

There will be intermittent lane restrictions in place during working hours.
