CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) McCracken County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to close a section of KY 339/Clinton Road on Monday, Apr. 13, weather permitting.
The road will be closed to through traffic between the McCracken-Graves County line and just south of KY 786/Mayfield Metropolis Road, or mile points 0-2.
A cross drain will be replaced near mile point 0.2, north of Smokey Road in Melber.
The work is scheduled between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Motorists are asked to self-detour.
Route C in Scott County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Saint John’s Ditch near Morley, Missouri.
This section of roadway is located between County Road 425 and County Road 407.
Weather permitting, work will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, April 27 with completion anticipated Tuesday, Aug. 25. This road will remain closed until the work is complete.
The work zone will be marked with signs, and a marked detour will be in place. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
