CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI)  Route C in Scott County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Saint John’s Ditch near Morley, Missouri.   

This section of roadway is located between County Road 425 and County Road 407. 

Weather permitting, work will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, April 27 with completion anticipated Tuesday, Aug. 25. This road will remain closed until the work is complete.  

The work zone will be marked with signs, and a marked detour will be in place. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area. 

The north and southbound truck parking on Interstate 55 in Pemiscot County near Mile Marker 3 will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.

Weather permitting, work will take place from Tuesday, April 14 at 4 p.m. through Thursday, April 16 at 7 a.m. The truck parking will remain closed 24 hours a day until the work is completed.

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
