CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to implement a daytime lane restriction along U.S. 68 in Marshall County near Aurora, starting Wednesday, Apr. 29.
An asphalt resurfacing project is planned on U.S. 68 from KY 402/Aurora Highway to KY 80, or mile points 25.8 to 27.23.
The work is expected to last approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert for signage and follow directions from flaggers. Use caution in the work zone.
In Missouri, Route 67 in Wayne County will be reduced to one lane with a 13-foot width restriction as crew’s complete pavement repairs.
The work zone will extend from Route 34 to Front Street in Greenville. Construction is scheduled from May 4 through May 15, with work taking place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
