Orange Barrel Report April 6th

(KBSI) – Multiple roads and highways are closed due to flooding in southeast Missouri and western Kentucky, causing travel disruptions.
In Butler County, Missouri, Route W is closed as the Missouri Department of Transportation replaces a culvert under the roadway.
The closure is between County Road 533 and County Road 536, and work is expected to take place Monday and Tuesday, weather permitting.
Other affected areas include:
Missouri counties: Butler, Bollinger, Carter, Dunklin, Madison, Ripley, and Scott
Western Kentucky: Interstate 69 is blocked by high water at the 90-mile marker in Hopkins County, with a detour in place through Lyon County
The flooding has caused widespread road damage, with no estimate on when repairs will be completed.
The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
