(KBSI) A contractor is planning a lane restriction on Interstate 24 eastbound between mile markers 34 and 36 in Lyon County on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

A crew will be working in the right-hand lane to repair the sign for the KSP Commercial Vehicle Weigh Station/I-24 Scales near Kuttawa.

Motorists should watch for signs directing traffic into the left lane in the work zone.

Work is expected to be completed on Tuesday, weather permitting.

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be making driving surface improvements on Route Z in Cape Girardeau County.

This section of roadway is located from Route F to Route 25 in Gordonville, Missouri. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 18 through Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.
