(KBSI) Route J in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation Crews replace a culvert under the roadway.

This section of roadway is located from Route AA to Route 25 in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Aug. 12 through Thursday, Aug. 14 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning a weeklong closure along a section of KY 1345/Myers Road in Ballard County starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, weather permitting.

The closure, which will last about five days, will be from KY 286 to KY 1290, or about mile points 1 to 3.2.

A crew will repair a cross drain between East Blanks and West Blanks roads.

The roadway is expected to reopen by 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15.

Motorists are asked to self-detour.
