(KBSI) Northbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform shoulder repairs.

This section of roadway is located from mile marker 50.4 to mile marker 51.8.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Jan. 5 through Friday, Jan. 9 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

Route 62 in New Madrid County will be reduced as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform drainage work.  

This section of roadway is located from County Road 527 to County Road 529 near Risco, Missouri.  

Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Dec. 18 through Friday, Jan. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.  

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
