— A section of Route 51 in Bollinger and Perry counties will be reduced to one lane on Jan. 22-23 as the Missouri Department of Transportation performs shoulder repairs.

The work zone will stretch from County Road 930 in Bollinger County to Route KK in Perry County. Crews will work from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

Additionally, roadside work will be performed on another section of Route 51, from mile marker 96.8 to 96.2, on Feb. 4 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

In a separate project, a six-month closure of Interstate 255 in St. Clair County is set to begin Feb. 1, weather permitting. The closure is part of a Rebuild Illinois-funded project to repair the roadway, bridges, and safety improvements, and install new lighting, signage and drainage systems.
