(KBSI) — The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that the left lane of westbound U.S. 150 will be closed starting Monday, Feb. 3, just before the McCluggage

Bridge.

The closure is necessary for demolition of the old eastbound structure and is expected to last two weeks, followed by intermittent daytime lane closures until completion.

Meanwhile, in Missouri, a section of Route 142 in Butler County will be closed Monday, Jan. 27, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.

The closure will affect the area from Route EE to County Road 265 near Neelyville, Missouri. Work is weather permitting.
