CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Road crews in McCracken County are spending today and Thursday clearing snow from medians and turn lanes across the county.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is warning drivers to expect possible slowdowns in areas where snowplows and maintenance crews are working and urges motorists to use caution and allow extra travel time.
In Missouri, the Missouri Department of Transportation is planning an upcoming improvement project in Jackson that would impact Route 61 from Donna Drive to Kimbel Lane.
According to MoDOT, the project would include upgrades to traffic signal infrastructure and the addition of pedestrian crossings along Highway 61. The project is currently scheduled to begin in April of next year and is expected to be completed by the end of December.
