(KBSI) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning a multi-day closure on KY 305/Cairo Road in McCracken County, starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13.

A crew will be repairing the bridge deck at mile point 7.7, near Carr Road. This is along KY 305 between Commerce Drive and KY 998/Olivet Church Road.

Motorists are asked to plan ahead and use alternate routes.

Work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15.

KY 387 in Crittenden County is expected to reopen to traffic at the new Crooked Creek Bridge by 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 9.

KY 387, also called Dam 50 Road, was closed in March to allow for the construction of a new bridge at mile point 0.77, about 3/4ths of a mile east of KY 91.

Some finishing work will be scheduled later.

This $4.34 million bridge replacement project also included construction of the new West Fork Clarks River Bridge along KY 783 in Calloway County, completed in November 2024.

The project was listed in the KYTC District 1 Roadshow Report.

Approximately 111 vehicles travel this section of KY 387 in an average day.

Route PP in Stoddard County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.

This section of roadway is located from County Road 263 to County Road 249 near Puxico, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Jan. 15 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
