(KBSI) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Marshall County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to close a section of KY 1836/Duncan Creek Road, north of the Marshall-Calloway County Line, on Wednesday, July 2.

Starting at 7 a.m., a crew will replace a cross drain between Arrowhead Road and Brewers Highway, or mile points 0.8 to 1.7.

The work is expected to be completed by 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, weather permitting.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Lyon County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to temporarily close sections of KY 819 between mile markers 0 and 8 for three separate projects scheduled over the coming week.

Crews will replace cross drains at the following locations (listed by project date, weather permitting):

Wednesday, July 2: Road closure from mile point 7-8
Thursday, July 3: Road closure from mile point 2-3
Monday, July 7: Road closure from mile point 0-1

Work will begin each day at 7 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 3:30 p.m.

Route M in Madison County will be closed as construction crews perform core drilling operations. 

This section of roadway is located between County Road 303 and County Road 310 near Marquand, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 18 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
