PADUCAH, KY., (KBSI) — A contractor with Lumos Fiber is planning lane restrictions on Wednesday, July 15, at the intersection of Buckner Lane and Pecan Drive in Paducah.
Crews will be drilling off roadway along Buckner Lane near the Interstate 24 overpasses and approaching its intersection with Pecan Drive.
Motorists should be alert for intermittent one-lane traffic with alternating flow on both Buckner Lane and Pecan Drive.
Watch for signs and follow directions from flaggers. Use caution.
There is no impact to traffic on I-24.
The work is expected to be completed in this area by end of the day, Wednesday, weather permitting. Work may resume on Thursday, July 16, if additional time is needed.
Information on future work zones and traffic impacts along U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road, KY 1286/N. Friendship Road, and U.S. 62/Alben Barkley Drive as part of this project will be provided closer to date.
Northbound Interstate 57 in Mississippi County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
The work zone is located between mile markers 8.4 and 9.6 near Charleston.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 13, through Wednesday, July 15, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
