(KBSI) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Calloway County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to temporarily close a section of KY 972/Snipe Creek Drive on Tuesday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 16, weather permitting.

A crew will replace multiple cross drains along KY 972/Snipe Creek Drive between Center Ridge Road and Faxon Road/Moser Lane, or between mile points 1.6 and 2.1.

The closure will be in place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning a daytime lane restriction on the Interstate 24 Tennessee River Bridge starting on Monday, July 21, weather permitting.

The I-24 Tennessee River Bridge consists of twin tied-arch suspension bridges at I-24 mile point 29.352 at the Marshall-Livingston County Line.

The lane restriction will start on I-24 eastbound from about July 21 to 25; and then move to I-24 westbound from about July 28 to August 1.

Route O in Ste. Genevieve County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs and guardrail improvements.

This section of roadway is located from Route 61 to Route 32 in Ste. Genevieve County.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, August 4 through Friday, Sept. 5 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
