MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will impose daytime lane restriction on Clarks River bridges on Benton Road and Clarks River Road in McCracken County on Thursday.
According to a traffic alert from KYTC, work hours will be between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Once work is completed. lane restrictions will be lifted.
“The bridge on Benton Road is located near mile point 2.35, between Pugh Road and Beckham Avenue. The Bridge on Clarks River Road is located near mile point 18.6, about one mile east of its intersection with John Puryear Drive,” the alert read.
KYTC says drivers should be alert for signage, flaggers and trucks with arrow boards guiding traffic in the work zone.
Route 80 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.
This section of roadway is located from Route V to Outer 55 Road near Matthews, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 29 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Route 76 in Douglas County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.
This section of roadway is located from Route 181 North to County Road 76-01.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 3 through Thursday, Aug. 6 from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
