(KBSI) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) McCracken County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to close a section of KY 994/Old Mayfield Road, north of the community of Freemont, on Monday, June 30.
A crew will replace a cross drain along KY 994/Old Mayfield Road between KY 1288/Lebanon Church Road and KY 999/Krebs Station Road, or mile points 2.7 to 3.8.
Work will start at approximately 7 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 2 p.m., weather permitting.
A nighttime lane restriction for a micro-surfacing project on Interstate 24 westbound in McCracken County has been temporarily lifted through July 6 to accommodate for increased traffic during the week of the July 4th holiday.
A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has completed the leveling course in both westbound and eastbound directions between Exit 16 and the I-24 Ohio River Bridge.
The next phase of the project will be micro-surfacing, which will begin on or about July 7.
Business Route 60 in Stoddard County will be reduced as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Arvin Road to North 2 Mile Road in Dexter, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place today from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
