(KBSI) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Lyon County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to temporarily close sections of KY 819 between mile markers 0 and 8 for three separate projects scheduled over the coming week.

Crews will replace cross drains at the following locations (listed by project date, weather permitting):

Wednesday, July 2: Road closure from mile point 7-8
Thursday, July 3: Road closure from mile point 2-3
Monday, July 7: Road closure from mile point 0-1

Work will begin each day at 7 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 3:30 p.m.

Weather permitting, a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will begin paving work on Interstate 69 between approximately mile markers 31 and 33 in Graves County on Tuesday, July 1.

Lane restrictions will be in effect within the work zone, which is between KY 131 and the Graves-Marshall County line. Crews will be paving bridge approaches in both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-69.

Route U in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform asphalt overlay.

This section of roadway is located from Route WW to County Road 730 near New Madrid, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place starting tomorrow and will go through Friday, Aug. 1 from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
