Orange Barrel Report March 11th
(KBSI) – IDOT has announced a temporary closure of southbound Interstate 57 between exits 30 and 45 in Williamson County.
The closure will allow for emergency guardrail and pavement repairs.
Southbound traffic will be redirected to eastbound interstate 24 south of Marion.
Repairs are expected to be completed overnight, with all lanes reopening by 7 a.m. Wednesday.
A portion of KY 453/IUKA road in Livingston County has closed due to a collapsed box culvert.
The closure, is located Southeast of Smithland, between KY 937/cutoff road and Cothron road, according to the KYTC.
The closure is expected to last for at least a week.
Route U in Butler and Stoddard Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 668 in Butler County to County Road 681 in Stoddard county.
Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
