CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) Northbound Route 67 in Wayne County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as construction crews perform pavement repairs.
Work will take place from County Road 209 to County Road 302 near Coldwater, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work take place Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
Northbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.
This section of roadway is located from mile marker 62.4 to mile marker 62.8.
Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, April 1 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
Lane restrictions are expected to remain in effect at the intersection of U.S. 45x/Kentucky Avenue and U.S. 60x/4th Street in Paducah through Tuesday, Mar. 24, weather permitting. A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is working along Kentucky Avenue as part of a resurfacing and reconfiguration project.
The U.S. 45x/Washington Street/Kentucky Avenue work zone spans from 28th Street to 3rd Street, or mile points 0 and 2.11. Motorists should expect one-lane traffic in active work areas, with impacts to both roadways at intersections, and are urged to use caution.
The current phase, expected to last approximately six to eight weeks, will focus on concrete rehab and updating curbs and ADA ramps.
After completing work near 4th Street, crews will move to the intersection of S. 28th Street and U.S. 45x/Washington Street before shifting to other locations within the work zone. Motorists should also expect a lane restriction on S. 28th Street between Kentucky Avenue and Clark Street.
