Orange Barrel Report March 3rd

(KBSI) – Starting this week work will be taking place on Lexington and Cape Rock in Cape Girardeau. Old Sprigg will be closed.

The intersection of Lexington and Cape Rock will be closed except for eastbound traffic on Lexington crossing Cape Rock or turning right/south onto Cape Rock.

Northbound traffic on Cape Rock turning east on Lexington or turning right/south onto Cape Rock and Northbound traffic on Cape Rock turning right/east onto Lexington.

Route 51 in Perry County will be down to one lane with a 10 foot width restriction while bridge maintenance crews perform maintenance on the Horse Island Chute Bridge.

The road is located near the Mississippi River between McBride, Missouri and Chester, Illinois.

The Illinois Dept. of Transportation plans work and lane restrictions on the Interstate 24 Ohio River Bridge between Paducah and Metropolis.

Work includes replacement and expansion of joins and deck overlay.
