(KBSI) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Graves County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to temporarily close a section of KY 564, near the intersection with KY 1124, starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow.

A crew will replace a cross drain near mile point 7.82 of KY 564, between KY 1124 and Usher Road.

The work is expected to be completed by 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16, weather permitting.

In southeastern Missouri, several roads will undergo construction in the coming days.

Northbound I-55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane as crews perform bridge maintenance and pavement repairs from mile marker 106 to mile marker 118.

Weather permitting, work will take place from May 23 to July 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

In Cape Girardeau County, Route 25 and Route 72 will be reduced to one lane overnight for pavement repairs.

Work will occur at the following locations in Jackson, Missouri:

Route 25 will be repaired from Route 72 to Kent Street.

Route 72 will be repaired from Lee Avenue to Kent Street.

Route 51 will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs on the Chester Bridge over the Mississippi River.

This section of roadway is located from County Road 946 near Claryville, Missouri to E Kaskaskia Street in Chester, Illinois.

Weather permitting, work will take place tomorrow from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
