(KBSI) A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a daytime lane restriction starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow, along Interstate 24 in Lyon County to finish sealing cracks in the pavement.

The work zone is between the Cumberland River Bridge and I-24 Exit 45, and has a reduced speed limit of 55 mph.

While the previous sealing work was done at night — this will take place during the day. Please slow down, stay alert, and use caution in the work zone.

This is part of a $9.2 million project to seal and micro-pave sections of Interstates 24 and 69 in KYTC District 1.

All work on this project will be paused over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

The overall project is expected to wrap up by September 30, 2025.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Graves County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to close a section of KY 1820, starting at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, for roadway repairs.

Crews will remove an existing concrete box culvert that carries a tributary of Mayfield Creek under the roadway and replace it with a prefabricated aluminum culvert.

Work is expected to be completed by June 2, weather permitting.

Route F in Dunklin County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.

This section of roadway is located between Route FF and County Road 609 near Cardwell, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 27 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
