Orange Barrel Report May 28th

(KBSI) A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to implement daytime and nighttime work zone lane restrictions along Interstate 24 in McCracken and Lyon counties on Thursday and Friday, weather permitting.

The work is part of a patching project to prepare sections of I-24 for a larger surfacing effort scheduled for mid-June.

Route 61 in Perry and Cape Girardeau counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.

This section of roadway is located from Route KK in Cape Girardeau County to Route F in Perry County, near Old Appleton, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 2 through Thursday, June 5 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
