Orange Barrel Report May 4th
(KBSI) – Flooding in Kentucky has entered its 31st day, with multiple roads closed due to high water.
In Caldwell County, Ky. 126 is closed at mile marker 4.7 due to water flowing over the road.
In Union County, Ky. 667 is closed from mile marker 0.2 to Ky. 871 due to flooding.
Motorists are advised to check the Kentucky Transportation District 2 Facebook page for updates and to be aware of traffic control signage indicating road closures.
Additionally, the Lyon County Highway Maintenance crew plans to temporarily close a section of Ky. 810 South on May 5 to replace a cross drain.
In Missouri, Route E in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane on May 5-8 for pavement repairs.
Motorists should check for updates and plan their routes accordingly.
