(KBSI) – Nighttime Lane Restrictions Scheduled on U.S. 45 in McCracken County; Additional Road Work Planned in Southeast Missouri

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning a nighttime lane restriction on U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road in McCracken County beginning Monday, May 12.

Paving crews will work in short segments along the route, starting near the Hannan Plaza Shopping Center and continuing toward the Hucks convenience store near the intersection with KY 1241 in Lone Oak. The work zone will be active nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Meanwhile, several roads in southeast Missouri are also scheduled for upcoming maintenance.

In Dexter, Mo., Route 25 in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane from Old Bloomfield Road to Conder Street. That work is scheduled to begin May 12 and continue through May 14.

In Wayne County, Mo., Route AA will be reduced to one lane for pavement preservation treatments between Route 49 and the end of state maintenance in Reynolds County. Weather permitting, that project is expected to begin May 22 and continue into early June.
