Orange Barrel Report November 10
KBSI FOX23 News at 9 p.m.
(KBSI) Weather permitting, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning an eastbound lane restriction on the Interstate 24 Tennessee River Bridge at the Marshall-Livingston County line, starting at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, for inspection work.
Traffic will shift into the left lane to allow inspectors to operate an under-bridge inspection vehicle (UBIV). Motorists should use caution and watch for signage in the work zone.
The eastbound lane is expected to reopen by 3:30 p.m. the same day.
Please note: The inspection on Nov. 18 will affect only eastbound traffic. However, a separate project may restrict westbound traffic on the bridge to one lane. This ongoing project for corrective work and painting is expected to be completed before Nov. 26, weather permitting.
Route T in Stoddard County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 297 to County Road 295 near Puxico Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, Nov. 12 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
