(KBSI) The eastbound intersection of U.S. 60/Park Avenue at Allen Lane will be blocked starting Thursday, Nov. 20, as part of a concrete rehab project along this stretch of road.

There will be no access to U.S. 60 from Allen Lane during this time.

The closure is expected to last approximately three weeks, weather permitting.

Crews will be working in the eastbound right lane, pouring concrete between High Street and Allen Lane, on Tuesday and Wednesday, ahead of the intersection closure.

Route 51 in Stoddard County will be reduced as contractor crews perform shoulder repairs.

This section of roadway is located from Route 60 to County Road 494A near Fisk, Missouri.

 Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Nov. 17 through Friday, Nov. 28 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
