(KBSI) A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to begin a daytime lane restriction on the Interstate 24 Tennessee River Bridge, located at mile point 29.352 at the Marshall-Livingston County line, on Sunday, Nov. 9, one day earlier than previously announced.
During the work, traffic will be reduced to one lane in the direction where crews are active.
On Sunday, crews will work eastbound in the morning before shifting to westbound in the afternoon. Work will continue during daytime hours in the westbound lanes for several days before shifting back to the eastbound lanes.
The project is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
Please watch for signage and use caution in the work zone.
Route T in Stoddard County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 297 to County Road 295 near Puxico Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, Nov. 12 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
