KBSI FOX23 News at 9 p.m.
(KBSI) A mobile striping caravan will be active along Interstate 69 in Graves, Hickman and Fulton counties starting Monday, Oct. 20, as part of a micro-surfacing project.
The work zone spans from mile point 20.3 (approximately one mile south of I-69 Exit 21) in Graves County to mile point 1.84 (between I-69 Exits 1 and 2) in Fulton County.
Crews will be applying thermoplastic pavement markings along I-69 during daytime hours as weather permits.
Motorists should be alert for signage and trucks with arrow boards guiding traffic to shift into the open lane.
A reduced speed limit of 55 mph is in effect in the work zone.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of November.
Work continues on Route B in Reynolds County as construction crews replace the bridge over Logan Creek and perform drainage improvements. The road is reduced to one lane with an 11-foot, 6 inch width restriction.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 784 to County Road 785 near Ellington, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work has an anticipated completion of Friday, May 1, 2026. This is a multi-staged project, with one lane traffic controlled by temporary signals.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
