Orange Barrel Report October 2
KBSI FOX23 News at 9 p.m.
(KBSI) Route Z in Pemiscot County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Route 412 near Hayti, Missouri to Route 164 near Steele, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Oct. 6 through Thursday, Oct. 9 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
The section of the Greenway Trail in downtown Paducah from the Convention Center to the transient dock area will be closed to the public today through October 8 for work related to the Riverfront Infrastructure Improvement Project (BUILD grant project).
The floodwall opening at Executive Boulevard also will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicular traffic. This area is behind the Holiday Inn Paducah Riverfront. Access to the Holiday Inn’s parking lot will be from the Convention Center parking lot.
The closure is to allow the City’s contractor, Jim Smith Contracting, to mill, pave, and pour curbs and gutters along the roadway that runs adjacent to the Greenway Trail.
