(KBSI) A bridge replacement project on KY 121 at mile point 5.25 in Calloway County has been postponed until spring 2026. No lane restrictions will be in place on the Blood River Bridge until construction begins.

The bridge is located about half a mile west of KY 444/Dunbar Road at New Concord.

Once work begins, traffic will be reduced to one lane for the duration of the project.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 1 will provide an update ahead of the new project start date.

Route 164 in Dunklin County will be closed as contractor crews perform a bridge replacement over Lateral Ditch 4 near Rives, Missouri.

This bridge is located between Route Y and Route NN.

Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, Nov. 3 at 7 a.m. with completion anticipated Tuesday, April 20. The road will remain closed until the work is completed.
