(KBSI) Route Y in Dunklin County will be reduced to one lane with a 11-foot width restriction as construction crews perform an asphalt overlay.

This section of roadway is located from Route 164 to Route 412 near Kennett, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Oct. 27 through Thursday, Dec. 11 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

A bridge replacement project on KY 121 at mile point 5.25 in Calloway County has been postponed until spring 2026. No lane restrictions will be in place on the Blood River Bridge until construction begins.

The bridge is located about half a mile west of KY 444/Dunbar Road at New Concord.

Once work begins, traffic will be reduced to one lane for the duration of the project.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 1 will provide an update ahead of the new project start date.
