(KBSI) North Marion Street will undergo resurfacing beginning Thursday, October 30th and conclude Monday, November 3rd, weather permitting.

The portion of North Marion Street being resurfaced stretches from Main Street to Chestnut Street. Residents in this area will need to move any parked vehicles off of North Marion Street during this time. This project will be done by E.T. Simonds.

Periodic closures and delays are expected during the repair work. No detours will be available, so drivers should consider planning alternate routes.

Northbound Interstate 55 in Pemiscot County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.

This section of roadway is located from mile marker 26 to mile marker 28.

Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 14 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
