Northbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement replacement.

This section of roadway is located from mile marker 50.6 to mile marker 52.1.

Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Sept. 15 through Friday, Sept. 18 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

**LONG-TERM TRAFFIC ALERT FOR SHELBY COUNTY** We have to replace the Collierville-Arlington Road Bridge (Old State Route 205) over the Wolf River, and the best way to do that is with a full closure. The closure is already underway We’re expecting to reopen the bridge to traffic Fall 2027, with a full completion in Spring 2028. The Riverwalk Trail boat ramp will also be closed as part of construction activities.
