PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — If weather allows, motorists should expect a lane restriction on Thursday, Sept. 17, on U.S. 60x/3rd Street (Downtown Business Loop) at its intersection with Broadway in Paducah, for utility roadway repairs.

It will remain in place overnight to allow the concrete to cure, but is expected to be lifted by by 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18.

Route NN in Stoddard County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.

This section of roadway is located from Route FF to County Road 531 near Dexter, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Sept. 21 and Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will conduct lane closures on US-31W (State Route 41) and lane shifts from Interstate 65 in Sumner County.

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, crews with Jones Bros. will reduce US-31W to one lane in both directions to begin the next phase of construction activities on the conversion of the interchange at US-31W and I-65 to a Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI). US-31W in this area is expected to be down to one lane in each direction until Summer 2027. Additional lane shifts are anticipated during this time frame.

As part of this phase, crews will re-stripe the I-65 off-ramps to US-31W, prompting a lane shift from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, and Thursday, September 17.
